If it’s been just a day or two since you made your website and are not appearing on the SERPs, then you might consider submitting your URL to Google (If you haven’t already done).
If you still don’t appear on the SERPs, relax! Google takes some time to crawl and index your website. Create infographics around your industry, at least once every two weeks or even one per month. Infographics can be simple. They don’t have to be full of tons of data or tons of information, but they do have to be interesting and creative. Since search engines focus more on the initial words of the titles, make sure you add your keywords at the start of your title tag – this will help you rank better. All too often, when we’re brought in for SEO work on a redesign,
it’s often late in the process, such as when the site is being
coded or even totally complete. “Hey, we should probably
have the SEO guy take a look at this before we launch,” but by
then, it’s too late.
Relevance is the key issue here
Emphasizing fast results is what Google is all about, and your content title and description need to reflect that. Giving Google browsers the sense of speedy information will increase your CTR. There are various ranking
factors that influence whether a website appears higher on the SERP based on the content relevance to the search term, or the quality of backlinks pointing to the page. The entire mentality of a search engine is to provide the
best possible result to the searcher that satisfies their
original search query. They do this by evaluating a site’s
content in reference to the search and the quality of the
site and its content. Google is constantly evolving to better understand the context and intent of user behaviour.
Set Up Backlink Alerts
Think of your brand as a publisher and source of high-quality information. When you produce helpful, informative content like blog posts, how-to articles, and research, you’ll get in front of searchers and earn their trust. The canonical URL tells
you / Google what the source of a page is. Focus on publishing compelling, quality content that is uniquely different and more valuable than anything else out there. That usually means it’s long-form content. The Google search results page is a beautiful menagerie of links and blurbs and information and value, and any advantage your content can get in order to rank higher is worth pursuing. Google authorship is a clear advantage. With authorship, you receive a boost in visibility, clickthroughs, and influence, and you get ownership over what you create.
Perform an inbound linking campaign with very targeted pages and keywords
Importantly, Google is now looking for ways to improve its understanding of non-written words such as through videos and audios, and of course, images. Ensure links to your website aren’t trying to manipulate rankings by using keyword-heavy phrases in anchor text. SEO takes some time. There’s no legitimate way around that. But SEO is also not a one-and-done activity. You can’t SEO a website and call it good. If you want to stay competitive, then SEO shouldn’t stop just because you’ve started seeing results. It's a good idea to get your keyword in the beginning of your article
Every business needs a marketing strategy and so does a website. The best strategy to market any website is through SEO management. After you publish a
blog post, share it on your social networks and then engage when people engage with you. Some websites have suspiciously large number of external links. These are probably the websites which buy links in bulk. These websites are in some ways, spammy websites. Linking to such sites can result in a penalty by Google. Make sure to apply a suggested guideline of one to three keywords/phrases per content page and add more pages to complete the list.
